Hailing from the vibrant streets of The Bronx and the sultry vibes of Miami, DJ Sydney Love takes the global music scene by storm, with deep roots to the pulsating beats of her birthplace: Lagos, Nigeria.

With a magnetic fusion of Afrobeats, House, Amapiano, and Hip-Hop, Sydney Love crafts spellbinding DJ sets that transcend genres, creating an Afro-Diaspora experience like no other. Her musical roots trace back to the legends of Hip-Hop, where icons like DJ Scratch, Supreme, and DJ Clue sparked the flames of her artistic passion.

The spark of Sydney’s DJ journey ignited during summer of 2011, a turning point when Sydney trained under the iconic Hip-Hop DJ Scratch of EPMD, honing her craft and absorbing the essential elements of DJing.

Sydney’s journey unfolds on stages across the globe, from touring with the sensational Tiwa Savage to headlining shows alongside stars like BNXN, Lojay, Mayorkun, Uncle Waffles and more. Her DJ prowess has not only fueled the afterparties of Burna Boy‘s African Giant Tour and Asake’s Mr. Money Tour, but has also lit up major international music festivals, including AfroNation, AfroFuture, Chop Vegas, Palmwine Fest, and AfroPunk; Sydney Love commands the spotlight with her magnetic presence.

Inspired by the rapid pulse of Afrobeats’ ascension, Sydney Love FOUNDED NAIRA DURING THE SUMMER OF 2019,a movement that evolved into New York City’s hottest and MOST authentic Afrobeats party.

Many sold-out, packed-to-capacity nights later, NAIRA Party has grown to be the go-to Afrobeats experience in the city that never sleeps, a testament to Sydney’s knack for curating unforgettable experiences.
As the vibes continue to evolve, so does Sydney Love.

In 2022, Sydney unleashed an indie entertainment powerhouse, ‘EKO MIAMI Records,’
a launchpad for her debut EP and singles, promising a sonic revolution.

Fresh off the heels of touring with the ‘Queen of Afrobeats,’ Tiwa Savage, on Her Water & Garri North American Tour, Sydney Love remains an unstoppable force. You can catch her rocking stages at HER RESIDENCY, SNS Bar, to Schimanski BK, Everyday PPL, Lincoln Center, to the upcoming Lets Get Fr.ee Festival and more.

The whirlwind of 2023 saw Sydney Love’s ‘Afrovibes to the World’ mix featured on The Ebro Show on Apple Music Radio. Her 2023 highlights include setting the vibes at the United Nations’ Artists Summit on Climate and Hunger during Coachella, opening the Major Lazer and MajorLeague DJz album release party in Los Angeles, and setting the vibes at Empire Africa x Asake‘s private soiree following his sold-out Barclays Center triumph. It didn’t stop there, Sydney went on to support Uncles Waffles during her sold-out NYC tour stop, and opened BNXN‘s sold-out “Sincerely Bnxn” NYC tour stop at the legendary SOB’s;

While jet-setting between New York, Lagos, London, and Los Angeles, DJ Sydney Love’s dynamic energy remains unwavering. In 2023 alone, she curated 25 electrifying events under her NAIRA brand, concluded a 2 year DJ residency at the now closed SNS Bar NYC, and finished off the year with a three-week residency at the sizzling ‘HOT BOX Lagos,’ one of the hottest nightclubs in Nigeria; solidifying her status as THE Queen of AfroVibes.
