Introducing
SYDNI LUV:
Known as the “Queen of AfroVibes,” Sydni Luv is a DJ and curator specializing in the intersection of Afro-Electronic, House, Amapiano, and Afrobeats. Her sets are immersive and intentional, moving beyond traditional performance to provide a high-level curation of global club sounds. Raised in The Bronx and Miami with deep roots in her birthplace of Lagos, Nigeria, Sydni’s work acts as a direct bridge between these major musical hubs.
SYDNI LUV integrates Afro-Electronic Dance Music, Afrobeats, Amapiano, Afro Tech, and Afro House. Her approach was shaped by Hip-Hop legends like DJ Scratch, DJ Supreme, and DJ Clue. In 2011, she trained directly under DJ Scratch (EPMD), mastering the technical discipline and craft that define her sound today.
Sydni has performed on major global stages, touring with Tiwa Savage on the Water & Garri Tour and sharing lineups with SPINALL, Lojay, Mayorkun, Uncle Waffles, and June Freedom.
Her festival credits include AfroNation, AfroFuture, Chop Vegas, Palmwine Festival, and AfroPunk.

Sydni Luv founded NAIRA in the summer of 2019, establishing the series as a primary destination for contemporary African music in New York City. 
Since its inception, naira party has maintained a consistent record of sold-out events, becoming a staple of the city’s nightlife through cultural authenticity.
Today, Sydni Luv continues to scale NAIRA into an international series while reinforcing her position as a premier selector on the global circuit.
Following the 2022 Water & Garri North American Tour with Tiwa Savage, SYDNI LUV has maintained a consistent international performance schedule. She currently holds residencies at Damballa (Brooklyn) and The Lower Third (London), building on previous multi-year residencies at Public Records and New York nightlife staple SNS Bar by SNEAKERSNSTUFF. Her performance history includes Lincoln Center’s Summer for the City, countless sets at prominent NYC nightclub Schimanski, and multiple sets at Everyday People, with media highlights including her “AfroVibes to the World” mix featured on The Ebro Show on Apple Music Radio.
Recent work includes the United Nations’ Artists Summit on Climate and Hunger during Coachella, DJing the Major Lazer and Major League DJz album release party in Los Angeles, and soundtracking Empire Africa’s private celebration for Asake following his sold-out Barclays Center show. She has also performed with Spinall in Lagos for the launch of his Eko Groove series, supported Uncle Waffles at her New York debut and her ‘We Love Waffles’ Avant Gardner tour stop, and opened for June Freedom at his sold-out headline show.
Operating between New York, Lagos, and London, Sydni Luv continues to forge her own lane in the African music scene through her cultural platform and event series, NAIRA. Since launching as the first of its kind in Downtown NYC, NAIRA has grown into a globally recognized platform, with over 30 curated events and sell-outs in Los Angeles, London, and Lagos. Building on her international residencies at Damballa (Brooklyn) and The Lower Third (London),
Sydni Luv enters Spring 2026 as the official tour DJ for Ling Hussle, joining JID’s “God Does Like Paradise” EU/UK tour.
